Matthew McCrudden, an HGV technician based at Abbey's Middlewich depot has completed the Three Peaks Challenge in a time of 23 hours and six minutes. Matthew was part of a team of eight who took on the challenge of climbing Britain's highest peaks in 24 hours, a total of 26 miles and 3,407 metres of climbing. Abbey’s JAUPT approved driver CPC training moved online this week as the company held its first course for drivers based throughout the UK, and participants have unanimously praised the new delivery method. Abbey Logistics, has confirmed a fleet order for 20 new DAF trucks. The order is for DAF's XF FTP lightweight mid-lift 6x2 tractor units in a £1.6 million investment into its bulk liquid and bulk powder road transport operations.
