Abbey Logistics Group is one of the UK’s largest road tanker companies. We operate three divisions: Bulk Liquid and Bulk Powder road tanker services and Warehousing. We operate from depots across the UK serving customers in a number of diverse industry sectors including liquid and powdered bulk food, construction, animal feeds, minerals and non-hazardous chemicals.
Our large modern fleet of road tankers operates across the UK and Northern Europe and consists of bulk liquid tankers for food grade and non-hazardous products; bulk powder road tankers for food and non-food granulated products, intermodal bulk tank containers (ISO tanks) for liquid and powder, together with ambient warehousing facilities (including bag to bulk rip and tip).
Abbey Logistics is the UK’s largest bulk liquid food grade transport provider, moving over 1 million tonnes of products per year around the UK and in Northern Europe. We operate a large and diverse fleet combined with our industry leading depot network.
Abbey operate the UK’s largest fleet of bulk powder tankers meaning we can offer unrivalled flexibility, short lead times and enhanced customer service. Our fleet includes bulk silo tanks, vacuum tanks, urban delivery tanks and tipping tanks.
Abbey operates 140,000ft2 of modern, secure warehousing units in Bromborough on the Wirral, manned 24/7. The warehousing space is strategically located close to the M53, M56, M6, M62 motorways and Liverpool port.
Abbey’s end-to-end logistics services ensure that our customers’ supply chains are performing to their optimum by managing every aspect from demand planning, stock control, vendor managed inventory to vehicle and asset cleaning and maintenance.
