Abbey Logistics Grows Flour Division with Premier Foods

Abbey Logistics awarded new contract with Premier Foods to transport all bulk flour produced at their mill in Andover to their bakeries throughout the UK.

The new contract which started in early January, adds to Abbey Logistics’ growing list of bulk flour customers and will see us loading flour at Premier Food’s mill in Andover and providing nationwide transport and delivery into their bakeries and two of their manufacturing sites using our fleet of food grade bulk powder road tankers.

Premier Foods owns some of the U.K.’s best-loved and most recognisable brands and is one of Britain’s biggest listed food companies.

Operating primarily in the ambient food sector which continues to be the largest sector within the total UK grocery market, Premier food’s portfolio of brands includes flavourings & seasonings, cooking sauces & accompaniments, quick meals, snacks and soups, sweet treats and ambient desserts.
