HGV Heroes by the RHA recognises Abbey team

The Road Haulage Association launched its #HGVHeroes campaign last month to recognise the industry’s workers, and the vital roles they play in keeping the nation fed and protected during such difficult and challenging times.

Abbey are proud to be part of such an important sector and hope that the recognition the profession received in recent months continues, as the public acknowledge the UK haulage industry does an incredible job – not just in times of hardship but every single day of the year.

All of us at Abbey are delighted that our wash bay team in Hull and Ted Park, one of our transport planners in Liverpool have been recognised by the #HGVHeroes campaign for their work over the past few months.

Both Ted and the wash bay team have performed brilliantly, adapting quickly to maintain excellent service levels, changing demand patterns and new safety guidelines – ensuring the products keep moving and vital supply chains were protected.
