CILT Awards – Organisation celebrates centenary year

The best and brightest of the logistics and supply chain industry gather together to celebrate at the CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) Annual Awards for Excellence. Held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London in the CILT’s centenary year. More than 350 guests, delegates and finalists attended the event and celebrated those individuals and organisations who have delivered outstanding innovation, societal benefits and commercial success within the UK logistics, transport and productions and operations management sectors over the last 12 months.
Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, Patron, CILT, was this year’s guest of honour and presented winners with their commemorative awards, and also found time to speak to Abbey Logistics Group CEO Steve Granite about the work of Think Logistics, the industry initiative supported by the CILT and more than 40 logistics companies across the UK.
