Over the years Abbey Logistics has collected a number of logistics Awards for the work we’ve done to support the sector and drive continuous improvement. We are proud to be at the forefront of innovation and progress in bulk logistics and supply chain, because we know that our commitment and standards of excellence drive service standards and quality for our customers.

Awards mean that our contribution is recognised and admired by both our own industry peers and those in other sectors, and we are proud to have achieved some prestigious accolades across several industries:

 

Transport and Logistics Industry Recognition – Our Awards:

  • Abbey Logistics was awarded the Operational Excellence and Team of the Year Awards, along with Steve Granite, who earned the Service to Industry Award. This rounded up our total of three awards at the Motor Transport Awards 2023.
  • Think Logistics collects the Partnership of the Year Award for the second time at the Motor Transport Awards in recognition of the unique partnership created between Think Logistics and over 40 leading UK transport and logistics companies in 2020.
  • Abbey’s team supporting British Sugar since 2016 is recognised for its achievements by collecting the highly sought after Team of the Year Award at the 2020 Motor Transport Awards.
  • Abbey’s training team pick up the 2020 Training Team of the Year award at the Talent in Logistics Awards .
  • Microlise Driver Excellence Award in 2019.
  • Abbey Logistics awarded Best Practice Award in June 2017 at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) NW Awards for Education & Excellence.
  • Abbey Logistics scoop Large Business of the Year Award in April 2017 at The Business Desk’s annual Business Masters Awards.
  • The partnership of Think Logistics and Career Ready is once again recognised in 2016 at the annual SHD Logistics Awards, where the partnership picked up the Future Skills Award.
  • In 2016, Think Logistics, the initiative started by Abbey Logistics CEO Steve Granite in 2013 to bring more young people into the logistics industry, wins Motor Transport’s Partnership of the Year award for the work the initiative has done with educational charity Career Ready.
  • Abbey Logistics collect Tanker Operator of the Year Award at the Tank Ex conference annual event.
  • Abbey Logistic’s ‘Silent Truck’ wins the Noise Abatement Society’s John Connell Award 2015 – Enterprise in Quiet Logistics award. Click here for short video
  • Abbey is recognised for its continued growth and customer service record by picking up the Motor Transport Business Excellence award 2014
  • Abbey collects Motor Transport’s Haulier of the Year award for the second time at the magazine’s 2014 ceremony.
  • Also in 2014 Abbey collect the Chartered Institue of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Industry Best Practice for Freight Transport Award
  • One of Abbey’s multinational customers awards the company the Innovation of the Year award in 2012 at its annual supplier awards ceremony for Abbey’s twin cargo trailer.
  • Abbey collects the Liverpool Daily Post’s Green Business award in 2012 against heavy competition.
  • Abbey is proud recipients of Motor Transport’s Haulier of The Year award in 2010.
  • UK’s first hygienically designed food liquid tanker – ART2000 wins UK Tanker of the Year award.
